There are many different types of contests. There are contests for members, for advisors, and for the club as a whole.

    Contests help recognize extremely dedicated members, advisors, and clubs. If you are a member or an advisor and enter & win a contest, that will go onto your record. Colleges are then able to see your record and are able to tell that you won a contest. Colleges are very competitive these days so being recognized for winning a contest can help you stand out.
