Hosted by Kiwanis, Street Clean-Up was on Lurline and Chatsworth street where we filled bags with leaves, twigs, and trash. This event is done once every year. You make new friends while cleaning the street. This year, more than the amount of people volunteered than on September 2019. Some of us were using a rake to make piles so we can pick up the piles into a bag. While others were using a broom to sweep dust to the piles. If you ever need to take a break, you can drink water from a bottle, not from a fountain. From people picking up trash, to scraping weeds from the concrete floor. Eventually for 2 hours, we successfully finished cleaning up the street.
